SUCCESSES
• The gala attracted an whelming number of 50 teams from all over Uganda where 840 young people played together and interacted. In total 45full jerseys and 55 balls where donated to these teams, this was our major objective and we achieved it.
• Young people from all over the country played football and netball and everyone had fun.
• All volunteers and chairperson were supportive to each other and to the participant through the sports tournament which made it easy to coordinate.
• We managed to finish on time so time was well managed.
• Media houses such as BUKEDDE TV, SK13 SPORTS PROMOTIONS and radio stations attended the event so we managed to get national coverage.
• The chairperson creatively provided drinking water throughout the gala to keep hydrated through the hot day and some snacks were also provided to participants and organizer using a very small budget which we thank him so much.
• With a very small budget we managed to pull off a massive and a very successful event.

CHALLENGES AND HOW THEY WERE HANDLED/RECOMMENDATION.

• We didn’t have a enough budget so we struggled with a few things, firstly we failed to secure a free tent so teams, coaches and guests braved the scotching sun and some participant were seen looking for shades but in vain, we thank them for being brave.
• Organizers and participates were not provided with lunch yet they had to come early but the organizing team was strong, this can be improved in the future.
• Many teams turned up a bit late but the team was creative and they were given chance to play.
• Some teams were not originally planned for but turned up and wanted jerseys and balls, again our team was wise and thinking ahead by bring some extra jerseys to handle such situations and this problem was handled that way.
• Some teams didn’t get enough play time and they were seen complaining on s number of occasions. This was due to the big number of teams that turned up, we handled it by explaining to the teams about the situation and how we wanted every team to play and also benefit, thank God they understood.
In conclusion we had a very successful sports tournament and we believe it can only get better, TUCHEZE INTERNATIONAL is committed to keep providing sports Equipment to the needy communities of Uganda and other countries where a need and an opportunity for Tucheze International to get involved may arise. Therefore the communities, academies, worship institutions etc. that didn’t benefit in this sports tournament will be invited to the next tournament soon.
Finally we would like to thank all volunteers who offered their time and all partners who offered their support in countless ways, God bless you.
